FlauntR Photo Editing

You Should have the FotoFlexor Post done before this one. See the post below this one for fotoflexor directions.

Another free photo editing web site is FlauntR for this post you will be exploring this site. Your post will include.

  1. 3 different photos you edited using FlauntR. Provide a brief description telling us the types of edits you used.
  2. 2 paragraphs telling me which service you would use and why? These paragraphs need to include 2 similarities and 2 differences between the two web sites.

FotoFlexer Photo Editing (Monday's Directions)

You should finish your Tour Operator Project before you start this post. You need to have your photostory on your blog and a link to your itinerary. Ask Wyatt or Dylan for help if you need it.

Many of the web applications we have used so far are part of the web 2.0 movement. For this post you will be exploring FotoFlexer, this is a free photo editing site.

Your post will include

1. What is web 2.0 provide a definition and link to where you found your info.

2. 3 photos edited using FotoFlexer. Be sure to use different edits for each. (I have put some in the shared file you can use or you can get some off the web just make sure they are large images)

3. Your opinion of FotoFlexer what features did you like or not like? would you use it to edit your own photos? Have you ever edited photos before? what did you use

Directions for Wed-Fri

Assignment #1 Advertising Poster
  1.  Open a blank document in Publisher.
  2.  You have been asked to create a poster to try and get people to come to the    destination of your choice. 
Chose one of the following destinations 
(Each destination is linked to the official site you will need visit the site to get the information required.)
3. After you you have chosen an attraction you can start your poster. You will need the following information about attraction on your poster. They can be found on the web sites linked above.
  • The full address of the attraction
  • Ticket Price
  • One of the main attractions (info about it on your poster)
  • Remember the point of the poster is to get people to come to your attraction.
4. Please include the following publisher elements in your poster. You must start with a blank sheet do not use any of the pre designs.
  • WordArt
  • Formatted text boxes (fill and borders)
  • Auto Shapes
  • Design Gallery Object
Assignment #2- Trivia Newsletter
1. Choose a template from the shared folder.
2  Delete the last page you only need to do 3pages
3. Use the sites I have linked to help you choose a topic make sure you can fill 3 pages with your choosen topic.
4. Your finished newsletter will be graded on the following criteria. Some of these we will add when I return.

Group Presentation Project


Project Requirements

  3. 2 links to web sites with information about your topic
  4. At least one picture per slide
  5. Content Development- part of your grade will be the quality of your content. 
  6. Your finished presentation must be embed ed on your blog by the end of the period Thursday.
